General Questions
Is there a minimum stay?
We operate on a 2 night minimum stay for the majority of the year. Bank Holiday weekends and other selected other dates may have a longer minimum stay.
How can I change my booking?
Any requests to change bookings can be emailed to us at info@the-coachhouse.com We will always try our hardest to accommodate your needs where we can.
What time can I check in?
Unless agreed otherwise, you can gain access to your Cabin from 15:00 onwards. Early check-in subject to availability.
What time do I need to check out?
Unless agreed otherwise, before 10:00 on the day of departure.
Do I have to pre-pay for my stay?
Yes, our policy is payment in full at the time of booking.
Do I have to pay a security deposit?
Yes, there is a £150 security deposit required. Please report any breakages so we can attend to any damage as soon as possible.
What happens if I need to cancel?
We are unable to refund cancelled bookings 14 days or less prior to arrival. See Booking Terms and conditions. We strongly advise you to take out the appropriate travel insurance so you can have peace of mind that your costs will be covered, should you need to cancel your stay for any reason within this period.
How can I pay online?
We process all bookings and payments through ‘GlampManager’ which utilises a safe online payment system, Stripe, which accepts all major credit and debit cards.
Cabin Questions
How many people can stay in the cabin?
Our cabins feature a king size bed and will accommodate 2 adults comfortably. The maximum occupancy in a cabin is 2 adults.
We do however have a guestroom available in The Coach House (usually listed on Airbnb). Subject to availability, you may book this room as an optional extra with discounted Day Guest rates. Our guestroom features a king size bed plus a futon and can sleep a maximum of 4 persons.

We fully service your cabin to a high standard before your arrival. We appreciate
guests who keep the cabins clean and tidy during their stay. There will be dish washing liquid, anti-bacterial cleaning spray, a dishcloth, a disposable scourer as well as general cleaning products provided for your use. There is also a small dustpan and brush and vacuum cleaner.
Please place all used towels including dish towels, cleaning cloths and shower mat in the laundry bag provided. Leave the bag beside the kitchen table.
Do I have to clean the cabin before I leave?
Please ensure all cutlery, crockery, glass wear, pots and pans have been fully cleaned, dried and put away – (hot water and detergent)
- Please empty the bins in the kitchen and bathroom
- Please ensure all landfill rubbish is bagged, tied and placed in the outdoor bin marked ‘Landfill’
- Please ensure all recycling (glass, bottles, cans, plastic, foil, paper and cardboard) is placed in the outdoor bin marked ‘Recycling’
The cabin will be in a clean condition on your arrival and we would very much appreciate it to be left in a similar condition. We may need to charge for additional cleaning if the cabin has not been left in an acceptable condition.
Do you provide towels and bedding?
One bath and one hand towel per person will be provided in your cabin. Additional towels, hooded robes and slippers are provided for use with the sauna / hot tub. You may wish to bring extra towels for other outdoor pursuits. All bedding required for your party is provided and changed between each stay.
Can you provide cots and highchairs?
We do not currently provide cots or highchairs.
How is the cabin heated?
The cabin is well insulated and therefore warm and cosy. There is thermostatically controlled heating for year-round comfort. This is included in the price per night, there will be no additional costs for heating.
Is there WIFI provided?
Yes, the cabins have free WIFI.
Is there a Smart TV / Devices?
Your cabin is equipped with a smart TV with Freeview. You are welcome to access your favourite streaming apps using this device, or Alexa. Devices will be ready for you to login to your own accounts however we kindly ask that you remember to log out of any accounts prior to departure.
We will not accept responsibility for any charges arising on your accounts using any device we provide.
What will I do if I damage or break something?
Please report any breakages to us at your earliest convenience. Where appropriate you may be asked to pay for the replacement cost of the item.
Can I cook in the cabin?
Yes, but we discourage frying or cooking strong smelling foods in the cabin for example, curries and kippers because these smells can linger long after you have left!
However, you are welcome to cook whatever you wish on our amazing BBQ which features a hot plate and griddle section. We also provide a cast iron skillet and a rotisserie specifically for use on the BBQ.
Can I pre-order fridge / BBQ packs?
Yes – we offer a range of items you can pre-order including a range of BBQ and fridge packs
Are toiletries provided?
You will find complimentary toiletries in the en-suite. There will be handwash in the kitchen area. There is hand sanitizer beside the front door.
Is there a hairdryer provided?
Yes – you will find the hairdryer located in the bathroom
